Job summary

Senior Helpers South OC is hiring caring individuals to provide one-on-one in-home support in South Orange County communities such as Irvine, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and Dana Point. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available to fit your life, with paid biweekly direct deposit.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active California HCA registration or willingness to complete the registration process.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
• Physically able to assist with transfers and mobility (push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs).
• Strong communication and documentation skills (in-app).
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, activities, and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, errands, and transportation.
• Provide medication reminders and maintain daily care documentation.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and hospice needs.
• Safely operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfer boards, and wheelchairs.
