Job summary

A home care service provider in Hartford is looking for compassionate Caregivers to join their team. You will provide personal, non-medical care to seniors, forming meaningful relationships while assisting them to age in place. Responsibilities include companionship, light cooking, cleaning, and assistance with personal care tasks. Qualifications include a preferred CNA or HHA license, exceptional communication skills, and passing a background check. Flexible scheduling and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must have exceptional communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if transporting clients.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Physically able to perform duties.
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship for clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation and medication reminders.
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands.

Education

CNA or HHA license preferred
