Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Texas is hiring dedicated in-home care companions to support seniors with non-medical care, companionship, and daily living activities. Part-time shifts offer flexible scheduling and paid orientation, with travel to clients within about 25 miles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years caregiving experience preferred, not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care as needed.
• Give medication reminders and monitor well-being.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and appointments.
• Plan meals and prepare simple, healthy meals.
• Light housekeeping and errands as required.
• Observe changes and report to families or supervisors.

What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with mobility (walks, transfers, appointments)

• Meal planning and preparation

• Support clients with daily living activities

What You Need
