Job summary

Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist clients in their daily living activities in the Lake Bluff area. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and monitoring health. Candidates should have experience in senior care, strong communication skills, and be able to manage challenging behaviors. The position offers flexible scheduling, health insurance for full-time employees, and pays $16.50 - $18.00 per hour. Both part-time and full-time roles are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or equivalent in caregiving.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card required.
• Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.

Skills

Experience in assisted living or senior care environments

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Proficiency in caregiving techniques

Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
