Job summary

Right at Home Southeast San Antonio is seeking CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care with a focus on safety, dignity, and comfort. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, mobility, and companionship in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test and reference check.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Housekeeping activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Provide companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
