Job summary

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care with a flexible schedule and weekly pay.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, one year of caregiver experience, CPR, TB test, driver’s license, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• Certified CPR with hands-on training, negative TB test, and a work physical within the year.
• Driver's License & reliable transportation with auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs.
• Assist with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
• Assist client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
