Qualifications

• Experience with dementia is beneficial.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, patient demeanor.
• Empathy, positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training; no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Encourage participation in community activities and provide companionship.
• Assist with meal preparation and service, light housekeeping, and maintaining a home-like environment.
• Provide reminders and assist with medications as needed.
