Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking caregivers to serve seniors in the Central Illinois area with compassionate in-home care. We offer flexible hours, including full-time, part-time, PRN, weekdays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home or outdoors.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
