Job summary

Sevita, through its ResCare Community Living program, is seeking compassionate caregivers to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently at home and in the community.

You will assist with personal hygiene, support those with behavioral challenges, and help participants reach goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while enjoying a stable, mission-driven workplace with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants engage in community activities and work toward independence.
