Job summary

Visiting Angels Baytown is seeking an Experienced Caregiver to join our local team serving Liberty, Raywood, Dayton and surrounding communities. You will provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and those in need, with duties from light housekeeping to mobility assistance.

We offer training in areas like dementia care and Alzheimer’s care, along with flexible shift options and opportunities to grow your skills while making a real difference in families' lives.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Clean background and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
