Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a dedicated Certified Caregiver for our assisted living community. You will provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, including those with dementia, while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certification is required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card for Assisted Living Facility.
• CPR & First Aid from Approved Source (any approved provider).
• Food Handler Permit.
• Free of Communicable Diseases.
• Test Negative for Illegal Substances.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: provide compassionate and personalized care to residents, including those with dementia.
• Daily Assistance: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Health Monitoring: monitor changes and report to health staff.
• Engagement: plan activities suited to residents’ needs and abilities.
• Safety: ensure a safe environment with fall prevention and emergencies.
• Documentation: maintain daily care logs and incident reports.
• Family Communication: keep families updated on residents’ care.
• Team Collaboration: work with Health & Wellness Team for high-quality care.
• Professional Development: participate in ongoing training on dementia care.
