Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to help clients with daily living activities and personal care in home settings. You will support bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, and companionship to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal).
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, and assist clients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
