Job summary

Right at Home Anne Arundel in Glen Burnie, MD is hiring caregivers to help clients stay independent and safe in their homes. We welcome experienced caregivers and CNAs who are passionate about helping others.

You will assist with mobility, ADLs, meals, transportation, and companionship while working in a supportive team and location. Training and development are provided, with competitive pay for experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA certification required for CNA positions.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as needed for the position.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.
• Helping clients with transfers and safe movement.
• Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting with range-of-motion exercises and other physical care needs.
• Preparing meals and supporting special dietary needs.
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Performing light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment.
