Job summary

HomeCentris is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/CNA to join our team, supporting clients in their homes around Salisbury and Worcester County, MD. You will assist with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, offer companionship, and help with transportation while maintaining clear records and communicating with families in English.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, previous caregiving experience, reliable transportation,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous caregiver/Home Health Aide experience preferred.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
Ability to pass background checks and physical as required by state regulations.
Active CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility.
Medication reminders and management as needed per care plans.
Meal preparation and serving according to dietary needs.
Light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
Companionship and social engagement with clients.
Clear communication with clients and families in English.
Help with transportation to appointments and activities.
Maintain accurate daily logs and notes on client health.
