Job summary

Assisting Hands of Dedham is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in the Dedham area. You will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and deliver companionship while following care plans.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance into scheduling or recruiting roles; CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience welcome.
• Strong communication and caring nature; reliable transportation and valid driver license.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility, transfers and light exercise.
• Prepare meals and maintain safe, clean home environment.
• Provide medication reminders and companionship.
• Follow care plans and document observations; transportation when needed.
