Job summary
Actikare Responsive In Home Care is seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to join our award-winning team to provide in-home care for seniors in the Seattle area. The role includes companionship, mobility and personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
WA CNA/HCA certification or active enrollment is required, along with reliable transportation, background/fingerprint checks, English literacy, and US work authorization. Seattle shifts are available.
Qualifications
- Must have active CNA or HCA certification in Washington or be in training
- Reliable transportation required
- Able to pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
- Able to read/write in English and follow directions
- U.S. work authorization required
- Must be licensed and insured driver for Seattle shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support to clients
- Assist with ambulation and mobility
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily tasks
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Prepare clients for appointments and daily activities
- Report incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
- Respond promptly in emergencies
