Job summary

Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking an Experienced Caregiver/CNA to assist clients in Evanston and surrounding suburbs. The role includes critical tasks such as personal care, companionship, and medication reminders. Ideal candidates must possess at least 1 year of caregiving experience, including catheter care and gait belt knowledge.

This position offers flexible part-time and full-time schedules with benefits such as weekly pay, health insurance for full-time employees, and paid training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in caregiving, ideally with catheter care and gait belt experience.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card are required.
• Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.

Skills

Experience in assisted living or senior care environments

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Proficiency in caregiving techniques

Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs
