Job summary

Civility Home Care-Danbury in New Fairfield, CT, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team and provide high-quality in-home care to clients. You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, and provide companionship and support.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients of all ages. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and support to clients, including engaging in activities and conversation
• Assist with medication management and administration
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as other team members and management
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
