Job summary

McFarland Villa Assisted Living is seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift (6AM-2PM) CBRF Caregiver with rotating weekends to support residents with daily living activities and care routines. The role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and resident independence within a values-driven team.

The Caregiver will assist with hygiene, socialization, cognition, and health needs, while maintaining confidentiality, attending in-services, and supporting a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification preferred; CBRF certifications preferred: Standard Precautions, First Aid, Fire Safety.
• Current CPR certification preferred and meets age requirements per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene.
• Encourages resident independence and preserves dignity through professional conduct.
• Supports socialization, cognition, and physical health for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Participates in facility in-services and helps train new staff.
