Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking compassionate Care Professionals to provide hands‑on care for clients with personal care needs, dementia, and mobility challenges in Chattanooga, TN. The role offers meaningful part‑time or full‑time work with flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable, and committed to safe, respectful, high‑quality care. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and work with dementia patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks and ADLs.
• Support clients living with dementia and memory loss.
• Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; provide transportation to appointments.
• Document care provided and report changes to the office.

Care Professional Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support clients living with dementia and memory loss
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
• Encourage safe mobility, exercise, and social engagement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Accurately document care provided and communicate any changes in a client's condition to the office

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is a plus
• Dementia care experience is preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, dependable work ethic
