Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks compassionate Care Partners to assist with direct patient care, venipuncture support, Foley catheter care and bedside tasks under licensed nurse supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining unit standards, ensuring patient flow, and communicating with patients and families. Prior healthcare exposure is valued; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) with the applicable nursing/assistive program option.
• Enrollment in a nursing RN program or completion of a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year, or at least 1 year of recent care partner experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Maintain unit environmental standards and support patient flow.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family communication and education.
