Zusammenfassung

AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality care for residents. You will assist with daily activities, take vitals, and offer emotional support, reporting to the Nurse Manager and Residential Services Director, while following directions from on-duty licensed nurses.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vitals recording, recognizing changes in residents, and ensuring safety.

Qualifikationen

• CNA certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA.
• Experience with substance abuse and mental health population preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living (ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, grooming).
• Take and report vitals and intake/output as directed by nurse.
• Observe residents for changes and report to licensed nursing staff.
• Monitor residents and property, report unsafe conditions and perform rounds.
• Provide emotional support and engage residents in activities appropriate to functioning level.
• Assist Milieu and Dietary Aides duties as required.
• Respect resident rights and provide direction and guidance as needed.
