Corydon Specialty Care, part of Care Initiatives, is hiring a Non-Certified Aide (Non-CNA) in Corydon, IA. Full-Time and Part-Time shifts are available for a 71-bed long-term care community.

Join a compassionate team to support residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, monitor health, and participate in recreational and therapeutic activities. CNA training is offered with reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in a Certified Nursing Assistant program at no expense.
• A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
• Interpersonal and communication skills that identify the ability to positively and effectively communicate with others while completing work accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoring by conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.
