Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA/NAC/HCA certification required.
• Annual certifications per Washington State law.
• Two years' experience with vulnerable populations.
• Food Handlers Card within 2 weeks of employment.
• First Aid and CPR certification within 2 weeks of employment.
• TB test negative in past 12 months.
• Background checks required before offer.
• Compassion, boundaries, and teamwork with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with mobility and activities of daily living during programming.
• Provide privacy-safe, dignified support and monitor safety.
• Respond to concerns using de-escalation and emergency procedures.
• Monitor moods and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain program space and client files per policy.
• Seek client input to tailor activities to individual needs.
• Foster autonomy and celebrate client strengths.
• Create a calm, welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with team on community-based activities.
