Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a dedicated bus driver to transport residents to activities and appointments, ensuring safety and comfort throughout trips. You will operate a large passenger bus, perform routine vehicle maintenance, and adhere to all safety and policy guidelines.

A valid CDL Class C license and CPR training may be required, with priority given to candidates with prior senior care transportation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR training and certification may be required.
• CDL Class C license may be required or preferred.
• Minimum one year experience operating a bus; senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, drives a large capacity passenger bus to transport residents to activities, errands, and destinations.
• Properly operates bus and ensures the safety of all passengers.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the vehicle.
• Support safety standards and follow policy for residents and staff.
