Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking a Part Time Behavioral Health Technician to join our Warrior, AL campus. You will provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and support crisis intervention to ensure patient safety and progress.

You will maintain accurate documentation, collaborate on care plans, and assist with discharge planning to promote continuity of care in a compassionate, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Certification or training in behavioral health required.
• Experience with mental health issues including crisis intervention preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health disorders.
• Conduct clinical assessments and monitor progress per treatment plans.
• Apply crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate emergencies.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation including plans and reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care and discharge plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote therapeutic engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate patient status to supervisors.
