Visiting Angels Midtown is hiring At Home Caregivers to serve clients across the Sacramento area. Roles include assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, with flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
• Have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.
• Smartphone required for EVV and caregiver notes.
• Able to pass background checks and TB screening.
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light exercise or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and responsibly.
• Accompany clients on shopping trips.
• Help with medication reminders.
• Support mobility and accompany appointments and errands.
