Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the MST department. You will assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Required: current CNA certificate, BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care experience preferred. This is a full-time day-shift position with a strong commitment to quality and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintain a safe environment under supervision of the RN in charge of the team and/or unit.
