Allure of Zion is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to support the planning and execution of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for residents in Zion, Illinois. You will help foster independence and socialization while ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.

As part of the Activities Department, you will assist in daily program implementation, observe resident responses, and maintain positive relationships with staff.

Qualificações

• Experience in a Long Term Care Activities Department is preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to move intermittently and cope with mental and emotional stress.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing activity programs and quality assurance programs for the Activities Department.
• Observe and chart resident behavior, progress, and responses to services.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with other departments and staff members.
• Prepare activity rooms and areas for scheduled programs.
• Oversee residents during activities to promote their physical, social, and mental well-being.
• Assist with daily activities, errands, and socialization initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity for all resident care information.
