Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a reliable and compassionate in-home caregiver to assist a client in their Bedford, TX residence. The position offers 12-hour shifts (day or overnight) with a pay rate of $17 per hour, weekdays and weekends, to support daily living, mobility, safety, and companionship.

The client is friendly, with mild cognitive impairment and fall risk, requiring attentive, patient care and safe mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience with gait belt transfers.
• Ability to assist clients with daily living activities.
• Comfort around indoor cigarette smoke and multiple pets.
• Must be available for 12-hour day or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Safely support walking, transfers, and mobility using a gait belt.
• Help reduce fall risks and maintain a safe living environment.
• Provide companionship through conversation and daily engagement.
• Offer reminders and reassurance when needed.
• Perform light household tasks to keep the home organized.
• Observe and communicate any changes in the client's well-being.
• Support daily routines while promoting the client's comfort and independence.
