Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to support local seniors with daily living tasks and mobility assistance. The role offers flexible hours, opportunities for full-time, part-time, or PRN work, and a supportive team dedicated to safe, dignified home care.

You can earn $16-$20 per hour with weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, and benefits including health, dental, and vision; training and mentorship are provided to grow your caregiving

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Excellent emergency response and first aid knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and maintain schedules.
• Own a vehicle with current insurance.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications.
• Assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' input.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and report any changes.
