Job summary

Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring a Companion Caregiver to support clients across the Greater King County area, including Shoreline, Kirkland, Seattle, and surrounding cities. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, transportation, and companionship while following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license, car insurance, and access to a personal vehicle.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
