Job Title: Non-Medical Companion Caregiver

Are you looking for a rewarding and fulfilling job that brings joy to both you and the seniors you support? We are seeking an exceptional Non-Medical Companion Caregiver to join our team and provide outstanding care for our beloved seniors.

Please note: We do not require any certifications as we are non-medical and do not offer hands-on personal care to our clients.

Schedule Examples:

7AM-3PM, 8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM, 12PM-4PM, 2PM-6PM, 3PM-11PM, 4PM-11PM, 5PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM

Responsibilities:

1. Companionship: Be the friendly face and warm presence that brightens the day of our seniors. Engage in conversations, play games, read books, or simply listen attentively to their stories.
2. Homemaker Services: Keep our seniors' living spaces clean, organized, and comfortable. Assist with light housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, and tidying up.
3. Meal Preparation: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals catering to dietary needs and preferences. Cooking skills and creativity are highly encouraged!
4. Transportation and Errands: Safely chauffeur seniors to appointments, social outings, or shopping trips. Assist with errands to meet their needs efficiently.
5. Medication Reminders: Support seniors in managing medication schedules, ensuring proper timing for medications.
6. Engagement and Companionship: Plan and facilitate engaging activities like puzzles, games, gentle exercises, and walks to stimulate mind and body.
7. Support for Walking and Personal Hygiene: Assist with walking, transfers, and personal hygiene while respecting dignity and ensuring safety.

Qualifications:

• Genuine passion for compassionate senior care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, friendly and empathetic demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations.
• Respect for privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal or professional experience in caregiving.
• Availability to work at least 16-20 hours per week on a consistent schedule (more is welcome).
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable, insured vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo background and driving record checks.
