Job summary

BrightStar Care in Benbrook, TX is seeking compassionate Companion Caregivers to provide companionship and in-home assistance. CNA credentials are preferred, with part-time, full-time, and PRN shifts available. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to accompany clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, personal care, and monitoring changes in health or mood, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence at home.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous caregiving experience of at least one year.
• CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing, changing and transfers
• Help with errands and accompany clients to appointments or activities
• Observe and report changes in a client’s health, mood, or needs
• Help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in their homes
