Job summary
Right at Home Eastern Long Island is seeking a certified Companion/Caregiver to join our caring team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, trustworthy, service-minded, a team player, and committed to Do The Right Thing.
We offer a great work environment, flexible scheduling for both part-time and full-time shifts, weekly pay, paid training and ongoing development programs. Starting salary is $19.65 per hour, with a $1.50 weekend pay differential and a $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in homecare setting.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
Responsibilities
- Caring for an ill, aging or disabled person.
- Light housework.
- Meal preparation.
- Medication reminders.
- Shopping and running errands.
- Companionship.
