Visiting Angels of Hurst is hiring a Companion Caregiver to support our elderly clients at home across the HEB area, including Bedford, Euless, and surrounding communities. The role focuses on companion care, personal support, light housekeeping, meal planning, and mobility assistance.

The position offers hourly pay between $16 and $19, with full-time benefits after 90 days and PTO, plus training and bonuses. Flexible shifts include day, evening, weekends, and 5-day options.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.

• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments.

A Visiting Angels Companion Caregiver wears many hats as they help our elderly and home-care clients stay at home or recover at home with dignity.

While no two client visits are alike, responsibilities may include:

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks

A Companion Caregiver must also be prepared to act quickly in the case of medical emergencies. This includes adequately reporting any health changes or unusual circumstances. Our caregivers possess the ideal blend of competency, compassion, and professional discernment.
