If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter and your work makes a difference, welcome home.**Summary/Objective**You’ll respond to emergency service calls and scheduled maintenance visits to diagnose, repair, and maintain compactors, balers, dock levelers, and related equipment. You’ll also inspect and service chutes and containers at various job sites.**Essential Functions*** Read and interpret electrical schematics* Diagnose and troubleshoot compactor issues* Repair and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components* Drive and operate company service trucks* Respond to emergency calls (includes overtime and rotating on-call shifts)* Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with dispatch and clients**Compentencies*** Electrical and hydraulic systems knowledge* Clean driving record and valid license* Strong verbal and written communication* Problem-solving mindset* Dependable and consistent work ethic* Comfortable working in tight, dirty spaces* Safety-first attitude**Required Education and Experience*** Hands-on experience in hydraulic repair* Experience with compactors, balers, or similar industrial equipment preferred • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills* Mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency**Work Environments & Physical Demands*** Field-based role with travel to job sites* Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs* Work may involve confined spaces, noise, and varied temperatures • PPE required (eye, ear, foot protection)**What Success Looks Like*** Responds promptly to service calls, diagnosing and repairing compactors and related equipment with accuracy.* Keeps equipment running safely and reliably, minimizing downtime for customers.* Reads and applies electrical schematics effectively to troubleshoot and resolve issues.* Maintains clear communication with dispatch, clients, and team members to ensure smooth service delivery.* Completes service records accurately and keeps tools, trucks, and equipment in good condition.* Demonstrates professionalism, safety awareness, and dependability in every job site interaction.
