Job summary

Behavioral Health Services North Inc. in Morrisonville, NY seeks a full-time Driver to provide safe transportation for PROS clients to and from programs, following established routes and schedules. The role requires a clean driving record and adherence to agency policies.

You will log mileage for billing, perform daily vehicle checks, keep the vehicle clean, and comply with NYS DMV and USDOT regulations. BHSN offers health coverage, PTO, holidays, and ongoing training via BHSN University.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent driving record is required for continued employment.
• Understanding state and federal transportation regulations is a must.
• Preventative vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred.
• Data entry skills are helpful.
• Ability to sit in one location for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Safely and courteously transport PROS clients within Clinton County to/from program per routes and schedules; report incidents per agency policy.
• Accurately track daily logged mileage for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Safely transport recipients to various program activities as directed by the Program Director.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues; maintain required paperwork.
• Keep vehicles clean and ensure equipment and communication devices function properly.
• Comply with NYS DMV and USDOT regulations and BHSN policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
