Caring Transitions of La Grange & Prospect KY is seeking several friendly, outgoing Community Transition Ambassadors to educate older adults and families in Oldham County and surrounding communities.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, public speaking, and community networking, with flexible 15–20 hour weeks and a performance-based earnings component in addition to hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Retired or semi-retired, or passionate about serving older adults.
• Enjoy meeting new people and speaking with small groups.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Active in community, church, volunteer org, club, or senior living community.
• Seeking flexible, meaningful work.
• Dependable, professional and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Present educational programs at libraries, senior centers, churches, civic organizations, retirement communities, and other community organizations.
• Build relationships with local organizations serving older adults and families.
• Represent Caring Transitions at community events and select networking opportunities.
• Answer questions and provide helpful resources to attendees.
• Introduce families to Caring Transitions when our services may help.
• Help expand Caring Transitions' reputation as a trusted community resource.
