This position emphasizes reliability and a service mindset within a community-focused bank. As a Teller, you will handle deposits and withdrawals, verify identifications, balance cash drawers, and answer inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Knowledge of bank products, services, and various federal regulations is a plus!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance transactions accurately.
• A friendly, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with computer and comfort learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions.
• Verify checks, endorsements, and proper identification.
• Balance cash drawer daily and assist with branch balancing tasks.
• Answer customer inquiries in person and by phone, maintaining confidentiality.
• Refer customers to other SFB team members for specialized services.
• Support branch operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
