Key Responsibilities
- Provide community-based mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize a strengths-based approach that incorporates evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Positive Reinforcement Techniques, Trauma-Informed Strategies, CBT, and DBT.
- Provide behavioral interventions using methods including cognitive processing, operant conditioning, and group dynamics.
- Coordinate care with external providers including physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and client progress.
- Facilitate PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) group sessions as aligned with treatment plan goals.
- Participate in ongoing staff development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection and reporting.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families, schools, and community supports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field; or Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and two years of qualifying experience; or any four-year combination of higher education and related experience; or Associate’s degree in Behavioral Health Support; or four years of qualifying experience.
- Qualifying experience includes working with individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. Experience should include services such as skill-building, group or one-on-one support, recovery-focused coaching, or assistance in community functioning and employment.
