Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. in Union, MO seeks a Community Support Specialist - Adult to work with adults on behavioral health and recovery goals. You’ll provide in-home, office, and community-based support, helping clients set daily living goals and access vital services while coordinating with a care team.

Regular driving is required as part of service delivery; a valid driver’s license is needed. High school diploma or GED is required, with preferred associate or bachelor’s in human services, and

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field preferred.
• Qualified addiction professional or related background is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and agency-established automobile coverage required.
• Experience delivering services to individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in reaching personal recovery and wellness goals.
• Provide coaching and education on life skills, health, and community resources.
• Help clients access housing, healthcare, employment, and other essential services.
• Work closely with healthcare providers, families, and community partners.
• Assist with appointments and provide transportation as clinically needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
