New River Valley Community Services in Radford, Virginia is seeking a Community Support Professional for the FAMILY team to provide direct intensive community crisis stabilization for youth and foster families.
You will coordinate services and interventions to stabilize individuals in the least restrictive setting, and work as part of a team to connect providers and resources so youths can live and participate in the community.
The Community Support Professional for the Fostering Attachment and Meaning, Integrating Lives with Youth (FAMILY) team provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization for youth and foster families in the New River Valley area. These individuals are experiencing acute distress due to placement within the foster care system and require additional support acclimating to the new circumstances. The Professional coordinates appropriate services and interventions to stabilize the individual in the least restrictive manner and works as part of a team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.
Starting Salary: $48,750 – depending on experience
Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
