Kindly Direct Care in Brick, NJ is seeking a part-time Community Support Mentor DSP to provide one-to-one support to an individual with developmental disabilities in the community. The role focuses on empowerment, independence, and achieving personal goals within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include community engagement, behavior support, and ensuring safety while following individualized plans. Onsite shifts with driving required; onboarding and background checks are part of the process.

Job Summary

Kindly Direct Care is a New Jersey preferred DDD agency dedicated to empowering adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-to-one support to an individual with developmental disabilities in the community. As a Community Support Mentor DSP, you will provide essential support, encouragement, and guidance to help our client live independently and reach their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities in the community

• Provide community support to an individual with behaviors

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one

• Experience preferred

• Driving required

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time schedule: Monday & Wednesday 9 AM-3 PM

• Hourly rate: $17-$21/hour

• Location: Brick, NJ

• Driving on shift: Required
