Job summary

Comprehend in Maysville, KY is seeking a Part Time Youth Support role to help engage youth in community activities aligned with individualized treatment plans. You will provide homework assistance and enforce behavior plans documented in medical records.

You will collaborate with supervisors to recruit CSA staff, develop services that integrate home therapy with Trauma Focused CBT, and participate in regular trainings and supervision to meet program goals within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have one year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder or co-occurring disorder.

Responsibilities

• Help the consumer to engage in activities in and around the community in conjunction with the objectives in the youth(s) individualized treatment plan.
• Provides assistance with homework to ensure completion and accuracy.
• Enforce behavior management plan as may be outlined in the medical record.
• Work with supervisors to develop, recruit CSA staff and enhance CSA services.
• Research and outline a program of service that combines home therapy and Trauma Focused CBT.
• Attend training and supervisions.
• Research method of outcome management that can be tied to billable services across the BH and SA system and tracked using computer technology.
• Update yearly paperwork as needed on existing clients who are medication management only.
• Timely completion of medical records documentation as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Meet with an interdisciplinary team around consumers as needed.
• Successfully complete within 6 months of hire the department led or approved training program.
• Other duties deemed necessary or assigned.

• Must be certified in CPR (or get Certification upon hire).
