The Nelson County ACT Team is recruiting for a Registered Peer Recovery Specialist to partner with severely mentally ill adults to help them live successfully in the community. The incumbent utilizes their experience as a primary mental health service provider to engage, motivate, and support ACT consumers. This position serves a diverse population of adults with mental illness in the community and requires professionalism, flexibility, dependability, belief in recovery from mental illness, patience, and the ability to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Person-centered approach and service planning skills are critical.
