Overview

Community Relations & Promotions Coordinator – Immersive Venue at PHI Studio. Location: Rosemont, Illinois. Working hours: Full time. Type: Fixed-term contract until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of renewal.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role is proactive and hands-on, overseeing and implementing marketing initiatives for the new immersive venue EXP in Rosemont, Illinois.

Responsibilities
  • Execute local tactical and promotional initiatives to maximize ticket sales and venue visibility, including creating local content and representing EXP at local events.
  • Manage and nurture the venue’s social media channels, engage with the community, grow an active online following, and monitor and respond to Google reviews and Facebook ad comments.
  • Collaborate with the ticketing platform to ensure accuracy of information shared with the audience, and manage reimbursements and ticketing customer service issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local cultural, entertainment, and community partners to promote the venue and co-host initiatives.
  • Implement local promotional events, activations, and community outreach activities aligned with overall marketing strategies.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of local marketing efforts, providing feedback and insights to the head office team.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of marketing tactics.
  • Stay informed about local market and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for engagement and sales.
  • Monitor the NPS score and customer reviews and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Experience in local or regional marketing, preferably within the entertainment, cultural, or venue sectors.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communicator, able to adapt to different stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment under guidance from a central marketing team.
Skills
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms and promotional strategies.
  • Existing local network within cultural and entertainment sectors.
