Job summary
The Edinburg Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to join a self-contained interdisciplinary PACT team in Massachusetts. The role involves shared clinical responsibility with the Team Leader for developing and monitoring treatment plans, supervising nursing staff, and delivering clinical services to about 80 clients.
The position offers full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in psychiatry, licensed in MA, and have experience with
Qualifications
- MD/DO in Psychiatry; board certified or eligible
- Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts; experience with serious mental illness required
- Knowledge of PACT model preferred; basic computer skills required; valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Provide medical supervision to nursing staff
- Oversee psychopharmacological treatment for PACT clients
- Offer supportive therapy and crisis evaluations
- Consult families and provide some administrative support
- Outreach services in clients’ homes or community locations as needed
