Job summary

Parc Center for Disabilities in Florida seeks a Community Program Specialist / Job Coach to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to secure and thrive in meaningful employment. The role is field-based, involving on-site coaching at employer sites and travel with a Parc vehicle.

You will coach participants, teach work and soft skills, and manage caseloads with strong documentation and collaboration with teams. This position requires independence and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four years of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities OR a four-year degree in a related field.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and sustain community-based employment for individuals.
• Teach vocational, workplace, and soft skills for long-term success.
• Facilitate travel training, self-advocacy, and workplace independence.
• Manage an active caseload and meet service delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, attendance records, and service notes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and attend trainings/meetings.
• Travel to community job sites using a Parc vehicle for on-site coaching.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Required, a minimum of four (4) years of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • OR a four-year degree in a related field (e.g., social services, human services)
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Work Environment & Schedule

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (schedule may vary)
• Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by caseload
• On-site and community-based role with travel to employer locations
• Company vehicle provided — no personal vehicle required for jobsite travel
• iPads provided for documentation and work-related tasks

Compensation & Benefits

$19.50 per hour
