Job summary

Lifecare Homecare, part of the Lifecare network within the APM Group, is seeking a Podiatrist to deliver high-quality home-based podiatry in the Perth area. You will assess, treat and manage patients in community settings, while coordinating with other health professionals and maintaining clear, compliant documentation.

You will work in a supportive team, with opportunities for professional development and exposure to multiple Lifecare Health brands.

Qualifications

• Podiatry degree with General AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously in the community.
• Desire to work with older adults and disability demographics.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Clean driving licence with access to vehicle and comprehensive insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check.
• Willingness to receive annual flu vaccination.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based podiatry assessments and interventions.
• Prepare initial, progress and final reports and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with GPs and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
• Document care and ensure compliance with funding bodies (NDIS, DVA, Medicare, Aged Care).
• Maintain professional practice aligned with Lifecare values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence.

Job description

As a full-time or part-time Podiatrist you will be providing high-quality treatment to our clients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary community setting.

In this role you will be…

• Ensuring appropriate delivery of quality Podiatry services tailored to the individual needs of the client and using a person-centred approach
• Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home
• Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care
• Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and Aged Care Providers
• Able to reflect our practice values of Care, Respect, Integrity and Service Excellence in all that you do.
• Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Care Coordinators, GP’s, community centre’s and other referrers.
